Three sizes of hand-carved bamboo tubes, each individually hand-toned by Balinese craftsmen, produce a layered, tropical sound that no metal chime can replicate. Coconut and bamboo are the only materials at work here, shaped and tuned entirely by hand so that each piece carries its own slight variation in tone and character. The result is a chime that sounds genuinely organic, the kind of sound that makes a covered porch feel like it belongs somewhere closer to the equator.
